Established in 1984 Peartree Interiors has had 25 years of continuous trading, same directors and company, an achievement we are all very proud of. The company was originally established by Philip Tyler in 1978 as an engineering design consultancy within the Petro-Chemical industry. In 1983 when looking for a change of direction with less travelling I chanced upon the then developing home improvement market and saw the opportunity for a specialist kitchen showroom in Colchester. The concept matched well with my experience in design and project management so after much research into various products and suppliers my wife and I opened Peartree Interiors in April 1984. Initially selling only kitchens we added bathrooms & bedrooms in 1995 to be able to offer a complete service of fitted interiors to our clients.

We have gained an unrivalled 25 years experience of designing, installing and project managing kitchens & bathrooms, many of the company employees and sub contracted installers have all been employed by us for a long time some up to 15 years, ensuring continuity and experience with product knowledge built up over many years.

Similarly we do not change our product offering very often, we thoroughly research the product that we supply to ensure that we are getting the best quality, service and value available. This enables us to pass these benefits on to you, for example Keller kitchens 14 years, Bosch appliances and Franke sinks 25 years, Ideal Standard bathrooms 18 years etc.

Our designer studied Interior design at university and obtained a degree and since joining the company has continued with a programme of product and personal development. Visiting many of our suppliers factories both in the UK and Europe. Keeping up to date with product ranges and new developments.

Our fantastically appointed showroom in Colchester has 5 bathroom and 9 kitchen displays representing modern, traditional and contemporary designs to satisfy even the most discerning client’s taste.

All our suppliers & manufactures are chosen for their diversity of product offering the ultimate quality to value ratio. Including quality names such as Keller, Callerton, Bosch, Neff Franke, Utopia, Ideal standard, Vitra, Corian.

We do NOT buy components from different sources and assemble a kitchen! We only buy furniture ranges sourced from a single supplier to ensure a full continuity and compatibility of colour and finishes plus of course a proper manufactures guarantee.

We rely on customer satisfaction for recommendation and repeat business, we have many clients returning to us for a second or third room within the same house or when relocating to a new home. Over the past 25 years we installed kitchens & bathrooms for clients as far away as Devon, Norfolk, nearer to home in West and Central London and of course many in Essex and Suffolk.

We offer a full service to clients, including design, ordering, supply, installation which can include building works, electrics, plumbing and plastering etc. as required, all work undertaken in compliance with building regulations, gas safe and IEE electrical standards.

We aim to offer a personal, friendly yet professional service at all times, to offer advise on any part of the design, choice of product & installation and to answer any question honestly. Our service to clients includes a no obligation site survey & design service, we offer this so that you can see the quality of the product and services that we can give you.
